Special Oilfield Services Co. LLC is committed to maintain a high standard of HSE in all its operations and is committed to conduct business without adverse health effects on its employees. As a part of maintaining high standards within the company, company have identified major health issues which includes:
- Smoking is one of the major factors which adversely affect the health of the individual.
- Consumption of alcohol, narcotics and drugs.
SMOKING POLICY
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in offices, workshops, stores, recreation area, mess halls, camps and vehicles.
- Passive smoking within company’s premises will be replaced with non-smoking policy. Smokers will be advised on ways and means to quit smoking by the HSE advisors and immediate superiors.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY
- Company will strive to eliminate consumption of Alcohol, narcotics and drugs used by its employees to prevent health hazards and impair work standards.
- Possession of illegal/ banned drugs, alcohol, narcotics at the work places is prohibited.
- Sales and distribution of illegal / banned drugs, alcohol, narcotics is strictly prohibited.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol will be prohibited and dealt with severely.
- All employees will be encouraged to highlight any alcohol or drug abuse.
